This is a short and powerful post after so many long ones here and involves a little bit of participation from you, so please don’t be shy…
Today I want to know that how well can you describe your blog in just three words that makes you stand out from everyone else in your niche.
Yesterday I shared this exercise on my Facebook page and asked my followers to describe their blog in just THREE words.
Any words, but only three.
After so many responses, I thought that this little and simple sounding task can actually can help bloggers to rethink the entire concept of their blog and why It exists.
As you might know that good blogging is all about serving people’s needs and adding value to reader’s life, so there must be a reason and benefit for people to read your blog. Otherwise no one would want to waste their time by reading your blog.
This is something you should think of before starting a blog.
One of the post I’ve recently read on what to do when no one reads your blog will help you understand why It’s important to find out the specific reasons on why people won’t read your bog.
This is an exercise that can help you understand your blog well, find out the specific reasons and give benefits for people to read your blog.
So today in comments section, I want you describe your blog in just three words that can help you stand out from everyone else in your niche…
…And can give your readers a few reasons to read your blog.
There’s no rule of participation. Just leave a comment below with your three words and do not include a link!
Don’t extend the words limit, only three!

Well This is Mine blog name as well as as tagline and mine motive is to provide a true and fair box office collections of the box office.

I started my blog about two weeks ago. I have not written many posts in my blog. I fill in my blog with some informations and advertisement from clickbank.com using CB Goliath plugin. I still have a little problem with my blog because it is loading slowly and often has error message (500 internal server error) so I still have to learn about website and anything related to it. Fortunately there are many top bloggers who are willing to share there experiences through their blogs. These are amazing and very useful for me. I will keep on studying from them. Thank you Ehsan.

Okay so my tagline is”achieve success online” and don’t you dare tell me it’s too vague. I’ve been down that road way too many times so once people land on my blog they see the helpful tips I share. Success can be defined in so many different ways ya know.
But I would love to describe me and my blog as “build great relationships”. I think that’s quite noticeable too wouldn’t you agree!

Hi Ehsan, this is really a useful exercise and I did this personally a few months back. Actually, I realized an important thing very lately. When I started my blog I was not much aware of the importance of exact words (niche related) for a domain name and I ended up buying Geniuskick.com as it was available and I liked these two words too. I was not much serious about blogging. I started my blog just to write about new business ideas that I generate myself. After a few months of blogging traffic started increasing slowly and my interest in writing about business ideas went more into online business ideas. I started loving blogging as well. So I tried to rethink about the domain name and the tagline. It was difficult to match the domain name with what I was writing as my domain name doesn’t consist of any words from my niche.
Coming back to your exercise, if I describe my blog with 3 words, it would be “Online Business Ideas” (of course occasionally I do write about some related stuffs too). But as this doesn’t match with my domain name, I kept the tagline as “Kick-off Online & Explore The Genius In You”. I know it’s lengthy but I don’t find any other option.
Any other suggestions?

You might heard a quote saying that don’t judge a blog by It’s domain name. I also started this blog with the intention of writing about something else, but when I learned about blogging, I thought to build a bloggers community.
I think Online Business Ideas is a great name for your blog. Also check out my respond to lokesh’s comment above. That might give you an idea.

I’m trying to make my blog a place where a totally newbie get help on every thing he need to start and make his blog successful. I would like to suggest you to choose a single topic for your name and a NAME for people to remember your blog, for example my blog’s name is “Guide to Blogging community” and everyone remembers my blog with this name. If you write on many topics, It will confuse people and they won’t be able to know what they can expect to get from your blog.

I just wanted to say that think of something catchy that grabs people’s attention. As you might know that these days people are smart enough and they won’t click If you use the same old and simple “blogging tips” in your tagline, but that’s not bad too.
